Reveal adds a second AI pathway rather than simply adding more processing.
Oticon describes Reveal's Dual AI system as Speech AI working alongside Context AI in real time. The aim is to preserve clear speech while maintaining useful surrounding sound rather than treating context as something to remove.
Preserves meaningful environmental information around the conversation.
Head movement, body movement, conversation activity and the acoustic environment contribute additional context.
Current Oticon processing and feedback-management technology support the fitting, but do not replace audiological assessment.
Clinical candidacy
Newest does not automatically mean best for every patient.
Reveal is a strong starting point when a premium rechargeable Oticon route is appropriate, but the hearing loss, speech discrimination, ear acoustics, handling, connectivity and budget still decide whether it earns its place.
Connectivity
Reveal moves further into LE Audio and Auracast.
Oticon states that Reveal supports iPhone, iPad and compatible Android connectivity, hands-free calls, Bluetooth LE Audio and emerging Auracast broadcast audio. Exact phone compatibility should still be checked before selection.
