
Meet Husnaa
Husnaa Seedat is a Speech-Language Pathologist providing assessment and therapy services for children and adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of the Witwatersrand and is currently furthering her studies through a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Cape Town.
Husnaa has experience working across hospital, school, and community settings in both South Africa and the United Kingdom. She spent two years working in schools in the UK, supporting children and young people with a range of speech, language, communication, and learning needs.
Her clinical experience includes working with children with developmental language disorder, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, complex communication needs, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. She also has experience working with adults presenting with neurological and swallowing disorders, including aphasia, dysarthria, and dysphagia.
Husnaa’s therapy approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and family-centred. She is passionate about helping individuals develop functional communication skills that improve participation, independence, and quality of life. She values working closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful and practical outcomes tailored to each individual’s needs.
